Martini Social – Queen Anne neighborhood, Seattle, WA

WJA members followed a busy workday with a relaxing evening, in the heart of Seattle.  Old and new members met for appetizers and homemade cocktails worthy of Martha Stewart.  The intimate setting created the perfect blend of business and pleasure.  Members caught up with each other and were introduced to new friends.  Topics of discussion ranged from the recent Tucson gem show to changes in the local retail industry.

Wine 101 at Cellar 46 Wine Bar, Mercer Island, WA

Our last formal gathering of the year brought many WJA members together for an evening of wine and friends.  Cellar 46 created an inviting atmosphere for our tasting course.  The staff introduced us to wonderful wines and informed us about different varieties and regions.  We learned helpful tips about wine, from how to pair the perfect wine with food to how to properly open a bottle of champagne.  The social side of the evening was in full swing as well.  There was plenty of time between tasting to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
